<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an increase of a response time during the cleanup of a resource.SOLUTION: A memory system of an embodiment comprises: a nonvolatile memory; a resource management unit that cleans up a resource of the nonvolatile memory when the use amount of the resource of the nonvolatile memory reaches a predetermined amount; a transfer control unit that transfers write data received from a host device, to the nonvolatile memory; and a transfer speed setting unit that calculates the setting value of a transfer speed of the write data received from the host device, on the basis of the size of the resource. The transfer control unit executes transfer with the host device at a transfer speed that is set by the transfer speed setting unit when receiving the write data from the host device while the resource management unit is cleaning up the resource.</p> |
