A strand guide system for placing longitudinal pre-stressing strands on a concrete product that is manufactured by an extruder, slipformer or other type of horizontal casting method,wherein the extruder comprises a frame (1), a limited cross section for shaping the product (3, 6, 8), feed screws (5) for pushing concrete mix through the limited cross section and core forming sleeves (6) penetrating through the limited cross section and attached at the end of feed screws 5-A drive mechanism (9) is provided for rotating the screws (5) and providing a compacting movement for the screws (5) and the core forming mandrels (6). A concrete hopper (4) placed at the opposite end of the feed screws (5) in view of core forming mandrels (6)and over the screws (5). Further,the extruder comprises a prefabricated mounting position for mounting a strand guide (10). |
