PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly protect a fuel system from entering of a collision object.SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel pump 11 disposed at an upper portion of a cylinder head 4 is covered with an intercooler 24 within a plane of an engine body 5 when viewed from a front part of a vehicle, so that the collision object is brought into contact with the intercooler 24 covering the high-pressure fuel pump 11 even when it enters, thus damage of a fuel system such as the high-pressure fuel pump 11 and piping can be suppressed to the minimum without disposing a protecting member and the like. |
