The mouse (1) has an input unit (10) e.g. mouse wheel or mouse motion sensor, an output unit (12) and a control unit (14) e.g. microcontroller, coupled between the input unit. The control unit judges whether an input sequence entered by the input unit corresponds to a pre-defined action sequence, where a trip signal is outputted to a computer over the output unit when the input sequence corresponds to the action sequence. The trip signal controls the computer, where the input sequence comprises input signals that are entered successively in a fixed sequence by the input unit. An independent claim is also included for an input method of a mouse.
