PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a detection system for monitoring the intensity of a modulation pulse stream.SOLUTION: A component 17 outputting a modulation pulse includes a controller 21 providing a control signal for controlling the modulation level of each pulse outputted from the component, and a detector 19 for measuring the intensity of a pulse in a pulse stream outputted from the component outputting the modulation pulse. The detector includes a gate detector, the controller is configured to transmit a gate signal to the detector, and the gate signal changes the gain of the detector in response to the control signal, so that a pulse of selected modulation level can be detected. |
