PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power supply device from malfunctioning or failing when the power supply device is frosted while stopping operating and restarts operating next time in a refrigeration device including a cooler that cools the power supply device for supplying electric power to a compressor motor with refrigerant.SOLUTION: A refrigeration device (1) includes: a compressor (2); a condenser (3); an expansion mechanism (4); and an evaporator (5), and also includes a cooler (19) for cooling a power supply device for supplying electric power to a drive motor (2b) of the compressor (2) with refrigerant output from the condenser (3). A controller (7) detects a flow of the refrigerant in, for example, the cooler (19) and monitors whether a power device in the power supply device within the cooler (19) is frosted after the refrigeration device (1) stops operating. |
