PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an appropriate operation according to a communication state and an imaging apparatus state when controlling the imaging apparatus from an external apparatus.SOLUTION: Video data obtained by the imaging means is recorded into a recording medium of the imaging apparatus. In a controlled mode, the video data obtained by the imaging means is streaming transmitting to the external apparatus. In the controlled mode, an operation by the operation means of the imaging apparatus is controlled to restrict. By the decision of the communication state between the external apparatus in the controlled mode, it is decided whether the imaging apparatus records the video data in the recording medium if the communication state is decided to be worse than a predetermined state. On decision of being recorded, an operation by the operation means in the imaging apparatus is enabled. |
