The invention relates to a wheelchair including a frame (1) with rear (AR), front (AV), right (DR) and left (GA) sides, a seating portion (2) carried by the frame (1) and, on each of the right and left sides, a rear wheel (31) capable of rotating about a horizontal axis (310) connected to the frame (1), a front wheel (32) capable of rotating about a horizontal axis carried by a yoke (321) in turn capable of rotating about a corresponding vertical axis connected to the frame (1), and a footrest (4) connected to the frame (1) and provided at the front of the seating portion (2). According to the invention, the footrest (4) is connected in rotation, on at least a first of the right or left sides and about the corresponding vertical axis, to the yoke (321) that bears the front wheel (32) on said first side. |
