Printed security element as control element

The method involves applying diffractive control marks on the carrier substrate. A printing cylinder applies the control marks for another printing and at the same time has a corresponding security motive. The security motive is available as printing with electrically conductive, magnetic and/or optical characteristics. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a foil material produced by the register printing method (2) a security element produced by the register printing method (3) an application of security element.
