An accumulator plate consists of a number of conducting rods 4 surrounded by active material 5 enclosed in an inner tube 6 and an outer tube 7. The tube 6 consists of a fabric of spun threads which run obliquely to the transverse plane of the tube and may consist of a braided hose of glass fibres. The tube 7 is perforated or slotted and may be made of polyvinyl chloride. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 697,198. |
