A drive system for curved segments of roller conveyors and more specifically to a cost-effective, efficient, and reliable system of transferring power from a straight segment to an adjacent segment.

1. A conveyor system comprising:
a driven straight segment and a slave curved segment and wherein each of said driven straight segment and slave curved segment includes a plurality of rollers extending between two adjacent frames and wherein a plurality of slave rollers on said slave curved segment include a pulley on one end proximate to one of said two adjacent frames and at least one driven roller on said driven segment includes a pulley on one end proximate to one of said two adjacent frames; and a plurality of micro-V-groove belts each having a drive surface including at least two ridges and at least one groove and wherein one of said micro-V-groove belt extends between said at least one roller on said driven straight segment to one of said plurality of rollers on said slave curved segment.
