PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress oscillation in long members, such as a derricking boom, a trolley garter, leg parts of a crane main body, upper part connecting material and a lower part bridge girder.SOLUTION: A cargo handling machine comprises a plurality of long members 30, 31, and 23c requiring for suppression in oscillation. At least one tension member 40 is arranged from one end to the other end of at least one of the long members so as to actively, semi-actively or passively control force exerted to the tension member and/or damping force, and thereby suppressing oscillation in the at least one long member. In addition, at least one tension member 40 is arranged from one end to the other end of at least one of the long members and an actuator 50 for pushing and sticking the tension member 40 from the lateral direction is arranged at a middle section of the tension member so as to actively, semi-actively or passively control force exerted to the actuator 50 and/or damping force, and thereby suppressing oscillation in at least one another long member. |
