<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting which has high holding force of a mating terminal and superior contact reliability.SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 10 for an electric connector is inserted into a terminal holding groove 32 of the electric connector 100 having a housing 30 with the terminal holding groove 32 and a rear holder 60 bonded to the housing 30, and comprises: a first engaging part 11 which is locked to a first engaging part 31 provided on the housing 30; and a second engaging part 12 which is locked to a second engaging part 62 provided on the rear holder 60. An engaging projection 15 forming a convex shape toward a shaft center of the terminal fitting 10, is provided thereon so as to abut the first engaging part 11 of the terminal fitting 10 when a mating terminal that is an other member inserted into the terminal fitting 10, presses a ceiling part 17 of the terminal fitting 10.</p> |
