The device has a primary shaft connected to a propulsion device i.e. thermal engine (4) of a motor vehicle, and a secondary shaft (5) connected to wheels. A continuously variably transmission (7) connects the shafts. The primary shaft has a male input shaft (3a) mounted in a female input shaft (3b). The input shafts are connected to the propulsion device via a double clutch (8), where the clutch comprises a set of gears. The input shafts are connected to respective sides (1, 2) of the transmission, where the secondary shaft is connected with a pinion (12) that is fixed on the male shaft.
