<p>Methods for preventing, ameliorating, or reducing dermatological signs of aging are provided which employ a cosmetic composition comprising novel 1,2,4-triazone derivatives or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, which promote the production of pro-collagen, collagen, and/or elastin in human skin. The cosmetic formulations further comprise an alpha-hydroxy acid selected from salicylic acid and glycolic acid and may further comprise a retinoid.</p> |
