PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase difference detection device that can simply detect a phase difference between output signals of two magnetic sensors without using a special device.SOLUTION: While an input shaft 8 is rotating, a first phase difference calculation part 77D calculates a value of E(i)*C corresponding to an optional magnetic pole, by using six output signals sampled at three different timings while both magnetic sensors 71 and 72 are detecting the same one optional magnetic pole. The first phase difference calculation part 77D repeats this process until values of E(i)*C corresponding to all magnetic poles are calculated. When the values of E(i)*C corresponding to all of the magnetic pole are calculated, the first phase difference calculation part 77D calculates a phase difference C between both output signals Sand S, by using the E(i)*C corresponding to all of the magnetic poles and the number m of magnetic poles. |
