The engine has an exhaust gas turbocharger which comprises a housing element (16) having a channel portion through which two mutually different media flows. A conduit portion (10) fluidly connected with the channel portion has a primary through-flow channel for supplying primary medium to the channel portion, and a secondary through-flow channel for supplying the secondary medium to the channel portion. The channel portion comprises a dividing unit by which the current of one of the media is divided into two streams.
