PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution distribution of intracerebral electric currents in a short time.SOLUTION: An apparatus for calculating intracerebral electric current comprises: initial grid setting means 110 for setting an initial grid; electric current calculation means 120 which determines a lead field matrix [L] by solving a forward problem, determines an electric current source vector [s] by solving an inverse problem, and calculates an electric current at each lattice point on the basis of electromagnetic information; subgrid setting means 140 which sets, only in an area of a previously set grid, lattice points to constitute a subgrid of a smaller pitch than that of the previously set grid on the basis of the electric current at each lattice point calculated by the electric current calculation means 120; and calculation execution means 150 which repeats one or more times the setting of a subgrid and the calculation of an electric current source vector [s] by the subgrid setting means 140 and the electric current calculation means 120 after the calculation of an electric current source vector [s] corresponding to the initial grid is executed by the initial grid setting means 110 and the electric current calculation means 120. |
