The present invention relates to a rubbing device for a liquid crystal display device. The rubbing device for a liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes: a substrate with a, alignment film coated in; a rubbing roll which couples a first body and a second body together to arrange a recess unit recessing from an outer peripheral surface and rotates around a rotation axis; and a rubbing cloth which has rubbing bristles rubbed against the alignment film, a rubbing surface surrounding the rubbing roll, and fixing surfaces arranged on the both ends of the rubbing surface to be fixed in the recess unit. Accordingly, the fixing surface of the rubbing cloth is fixed on the recess unit to prevent failures due to the winding gaps of the rubbing cloth formed during the rubbing process. |
