摘要 An image processing apparatus includes plural auxiliary processing devices and a distribution section. The plural auxiliary processing devices perform predetermined processing on image data. The distribution section divides image data for one page into plural processing units, and distributes the plural processing units respectively to the auxiliary processing devices. The distribution section calculates the number of divisions indicating the number of pieces into which image data for one page is to be divided, in accordance with the number of auxiliary processing devices, the number of processing units that one auxiliary processing device is capable of simultaneously receiving and processing, and a degree of page parallelism indicating the number of pages of image data to be input while one auxiliary processing device processes image data for one page; divides the image data for one page into processing units; and distributes the processing units respectively to the auxiliary processing devices.
