PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of achieving size reduction, high output, and high quality by reducing an average gap length of the rotary electric machine from low-speed rotation to high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes a stator 5, and a rotor 4 rotatably supported on the inner periphery side of the stator 5 through a gap. The rotor 4 includes rotor cores 9, 10 disposed so that a claw section 101 engages. On an inner-peripheral surface of the claw section 101, an inclined section 106 on the claw base end side by a first inclination angle and an inclined section 107 on the front end side of the claw section by a second inclination angle. The rotary electric machine is configured so that the first inclination angle is smaller than the second inclination angle. |
