A method for controlling a power generator of a vehicle includes the steps of determining whether an electric device in the vehicle is operated; calculating a voltage width reduction quantity and a voltage variation speed corresponding to the electric device if it is determined that the electric device is operated; and controlling the power generator by using the voltage width reduction quantity and the voltage variation speed. Therefore, the power generator of the vehicle is controlled even if the electric device is operated. The fuel mileage of the vehicle is improved by increasing a power generation control region.
