The present invention relates to a connecting material for a solid oxide fuel cell and a method for manufacturing the connecting material. The connecting material includes a conductive core; an anti-oxidation insulating portion in which the conductive core is accommodated; and an anti-oxidation conductive material layer that is coated onto an exposed surface of the conductive core where a part of the anti-oxidation insulating portion is removed to be exposed outward. The durability of the connecting material against high-temperature heat which is generated in a flat plate-type solid oxide fuel cell is maintained over a long period of time, and thus voltage loss due to oxidation is very small even after a long period of use. In addition, the problem of peeling of sealing and coating films due to difference in thermal expansion ratios is addressed at a low cost and with a simple structure.
