The present invention relates to a location based messaging service method comprising the steps of: executing a location based messaging application; displaying a history of reception and transmission of messages on an execution screen of the application; displaying, if any one history item is selected from the history of reception and transmission of messages, a list of messages corresponding to the selected history item; checking whether a message is an unread message if the message is selected from the list of messages; comparing the current location of a terminal and location information included in the selected message if the selected message is an unread message; and displaying the message if the current location of the terminal is within a preset radius from the location included in the selected message. |
