DISCOVERY METHOD FOR DEVICE TO DEVICE COMMUNICATION IN CELLULAR NETWORKS

Disclosed is a mobile terminals discovery method for device-to-device communication in a mobile communication network. The mobile terminals discovery method for device-to-device communication comprises the steps of: transmitting, by a first mobile terminal, information on the first mobile terminal to a server for managing relations between mobile terminals; receiving information on a terminal, which is verified to be proximate to the first mobile terminal based on the information on the first terminal, from the server; measuring terminals being proximate to the first mobile terminal and transmitting discovery information for device-to-device communication and transmitting information on the terminals to a base station; receiving information on wireless resources allocated based on the information on the proximate terminals from the base station; and discovering a second terminal, which will perform device-to-device communication from among the verified terminals, by using the allocated wireless resources based on the information on the verified terminals.
