The present invention relates to a therapeutic appliance, comprising a water pack 1 with at least one massaging finger 21, 22 having a vibrator disposed on the pack to excite the liquid in the pack, and a recirculating water system (3) with a container (30) and conduit 5 such that fluid is permitted to flow between the container and the water pack, and a thermoelectric device (4) within the container for heating or cooling the liquid. The device maybe such that the water pack has a side (12) to be in contact with the body portion being massaged and the vibrator mounted on the opposite side (13). The appliance may also include a rigid covering 10 over the water pack and massaging finger, shaped so as to receive the vibrators 101. The container may include a compartment in which the water pack is stored when not in use (34). |
