The present invention relates to a desk capable of enabling a student to concentrate on studies, in which protective boards are put down from the desk during class, but are put up on the desk during self-study to avoid another person′s gaze, so that the student can concentrate on his or her studies, and the height and angle of the desk can be adjusted to a desired level, and which includes a device for communicating with a teacher during the self-study, to improve the learning efficiency. The desk (10) according to the present invention comprises protective boards (20) installed at the front and both sides of a desk surface (10) and capable of being moved up and down from the desk surface; height adjustable desk legs (50); a coupling part (40) rotatably coupling the desk legs (50) and the desk surface (10) to adjust the angle of the desk surface (10); and a communications unit (70) enabling the student to communicate with the teacher during the self-study.
