PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a margin portion in a short time in an image reader.SOLUTION: When a margin portion is added to an image read by image scan using a reading ASIC12, a main control part outputs a predetermined band data, corresponding to the margin portion, to a codec ASIC14 from an image processing ASIC13. After output of the predetermined band data, corresponding to the margin portion, from the image processing ASIC13 to the codec ASIC14 is completed, the image processing ASIC13 is caused to start a predetermined image processing corresponding to image data output from the reading ASIC12. |
