Provided is a ball joint capable of ensuring strength against pull-out force and hollow-out force of a ball part while ensuring sealing characteristics of a dust cover. A ball joint (100) is provided with a ball sheet (130) as a resin bearing sheet for pivotably and slidably accommodating a ball part (113) of a ball stand (110) inside a sheet accommodation part (121) of a metal socket (120). The sheet accommodation part (121) has an end-part side through which a stand part (111) passes and that is formed so as to extend further to the stand part (111) side than the sphere center (O) of the ball part (114). Meanwhile, the ball sheet (130) has a cover part (133) formed on the outer side of a sheet opening part (132) in the ball accommodation part (131), which is formed in the shape of a spherical surface that corresponds to the sliding surface (114a) of the ball part (114) of the ball stand (110). The cover part (133) is formed having the sheet opening part (132) folded back so as to cover the external peripheral part of the opening part of the sheet accommodation part (121) in the socket (120). |
