PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of registering a driver to a virtual device object managed by a second application by selecting the driver in a first application.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 100 uses a first application for selecting a driver corresponding to an image processing apparatus 101 to cause a virtual device object corresponding to the driver to be managed by a second application, displays the prepared virtual device object, extracts a driver to be selected by a user in the first application, to be handed over to the second application, uses the second application to register the driver to the virtual device object, and outputs a file by use of the driver registered in the virtual device object when the user uses the file to select the virtual device object. |
