<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quickly adaptable optical encoder while suppressing the deterioration of measuring accuracy.SOLUTION: An optical encoder includes: light emission means; a scale which is irradiated with the rays of light from the light emission means; a light reception sensor for receiving the rays of light from the scale, and for obtaining an output signal; and calculation means for calculating the position or rotation angle of an object to be measured from the output signal. The optical encoder includes accumulation time control means for controlling the accumulation time of the light reception sensor on the basis of the output signal of the light reception sensor.</p> |
