<p>A heat sink 10 for transferring heat from a battery cell 21, 22 to a coolant has two plates 11, 12. Between the two plates 11, 12 cooling pins 13 are arranged in a two-dimensional grid (G). A diameter (DF) of each cooling pin 13 of at least a subset of the cooling pins measured in a main flow direction (MFD) of the coolant is greater than a diameter (DP) of these cooling pins perpendicular to the main flow direction of the coolant. The invention also relates to a battery cell assembly (60, figure 3) with this heat sink 10, and to a vehicle having such a battery cell assembly. The pins 13 preferably have an oval cross-section, and the grid (G) may comprise a number of triangular arrays (T) by staggering the rows of pins.</p> |
