The present invention relates to a propulsion apparatus for a ship, including: a propeller combined to the stern of ship to generate a propulsion force; a duct which is installed in front of the propeller, and which has a form of a circular arc; at least one electric current pin protruded from the stern of the ship to the direction further from the rotation axis of the propeller shaft; and a connection unit which connects one end of the electric current pin with both ends of the duct, and which has a curved or straight section, gradually ascending as the connection unit becomes further from a hull. Thereby, the fluid resistance can be reduced. |
