PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture power storage device, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises: an electrode assembly where a positive electrode, a separator, and a negative electrode are laminated in this order; and a short circuit unit 40 arranged on the electrode assembly. The short circuit unit 40 has an insulation layer 32, a negative electrode metal foil 12 arranged on one principal surface (first principal surface) of the insulation layer 32, and a positive electrode metal foil 22 arranged on the other principal surface (second principal surface) of the insulation layer 32 and facing the negative electrode metal foil 12. The one principal surface (first principal surface) of the insulation layer 32 has a first welding portion 32a1 welded to the negative electrode metal foil 12, and the other principal surface (second principal surface) of the insulation layer 32 has a second welding portion 32a2 welded to the positive electrode metal foil 22. |
