<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector having small splice loss and high reliability, and an optical component.SOLUTION: An optical fiber 3 is arranged such that the tip part thereof projects from a V-shaped groove 14 over an adhesive-filled groove 33, and the tip part and a ferrule wall 31 are separated from each other. The adhesive filling the periphery of the optical fiber 3 including the gap between the tip part and the ferrule wall 31, and the adhesive-filled groove 33 is cured to fix the optical fiber 3 to a ferrule 2 with a lens.</p> |
