A system and a method for preventing damage to a vehicle caused by a rack mounted thereon and by a load mounted on the rack. The system and the method use a leash and an alarm system to alert at least the driver when the load becomes disengaged from the rack. Thereby, the system and the method may prevent damage to other vehicles when the load becomes disengaged from the rack. |
