PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil mist separator that can restrain separated oil from being taken away to the downstream side together with blow-by gas.SOLUTION: An oil mist separator 1 includes: a first opening 9 for making gas flow into a flow passage 7; an oil separation portion 11 for separating oil from the gas; an oil drain portion 13 for discharging the oil separated by the oil separation portion; and a second opening 15 for discharging the gas from inside of the flow passage. On an upper face of a bottom plate 5 located between the oil drain portion and the second opening, a plurality of oil holding portions 17, 19, 21 for blocking outflow of the separated oil to the downstream side are juxtaposed along the flow passage. Clearances are formed between both sides of each of the oil holding portions and both side walls 35 of a cylinder head cover 3, respectively. One of the clearances on both sides of the oil holding portion is made larger than the other, and the larger clearances of the oil holding portions adjacent to each other are positioned alternately. |
