PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling an auxiliary chamber type gas engine, by which a fuel gas supply amount to an auxiliary chamber can be controlled by directly predicting an excess air ratio of a main combustion chamber based on a signal of an engine load state such as a rotational frequency of the gas engine and a pressure of supply air.SOLUTION: The method of controlling an auxiliary chamber type gas engine performs the following procedures: a procedure of calculating a fuel gas supply amount to a main combustion chamber on the basis of a drive command to a gas engine; a procedure of calculating the fuel gas supply amount in a mixed gas to the main combustion chamber on the basis of the fuel gas supply amount to the main combustion chamber and a signal of the gas engine state; a procedure of obtaining an excess air ratio in the main combustion chamber on the basis of the fuel gas supply amount to the main combustion chamber and the signal of the gas engine state, obtaining a fuel gas charging ratio in an auxiliary combustion chamber on the basis of the excess air ratio in the main combustion chamber, and calculating the fuel gas supply amount to the auxiliary combustion chamber so that the excess air ratio in the auxiliary combustion chamber becomes an appropriate value for ignition; and a procedure of updating, in the same combustion cycle, the fuel gas supply amounts respectively calculated by the procedure of calculating the fuel gas supply amount to the main combustion chamber on the basis of the signal of the gas engine state and the procedure of calculating the fuel gas amount to the auxiliary combustion chamber. |
