The present invention relates to an eco-friendly block panel-type retaining wall structure and a construction method thereof. The eco-friendly block panel-type retaining wall constructed by the construction method comprises: a concrete base (B); selected reinforcing blocks (1) constructed on the concrete base (B), intensively supported by anchor rods (D) or supporting bands, and having block bodies (1a) with coupling units (A) which respectively consist of protruding parts (t) and dented parts (g) formed at the upper, the lower, the left, and the right sides of the block bodies (1a); selected vegetation blocks (2) having block bodies (2a) with coupling units (A) which respectively consist of protruding parts (t) and dented parts (g) formed at the upper, the left, and the right sides of the block bodies (2a); and selected wall fountain blocks (3) having block bodies (3a) with coupling units (A) which respectively consist of protruding parts (t) and dented parts (g) formed at the upper, the lower, the left, and the right sides of the block bodies (3a), wherein the respective block bodies (1a, 2a, 3a) are mutually coupled by the coupling units (A) of which the protruding parts (t) and the dented parts (g) are relatively coupled, the vegetation blocks and the wall fountain blocks (3) positioned at predetermined positions are arranged between the reinforcing blocks (1), the vegetation blocks (2) allow plants planted in soil at the rear side of a retaining wall to grow to the outside of the retaining wall, and the wall fountain blocks (3) allow water to flow from the rear side of the retaining wall to the outside of the retaining wall. According to the present invention, the reinforcing blocks allow the vertical panel-type retaining wall to have a high constructional strength and durability; and the planted plants of various green plants and flowers decorate the retaining wall and the drained water add vitality to the retaining wall so that the exterior of the retaining wall is formed to be eco-friendly and beautiful. |
