PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated metallic pigment having small color tone degradation such as metallic luster and concealment property by resin coating, and excellent adhesion property and chemical resistance.SOLUTION: A resin-coated metallic pigment has a coating layer containing a polymer between vinyl phosphonic acid and a monomer having 2 or more radical-polymerizable double bonds and/or an oligomer having 2 or more radical-polymerizable double bonds on the metallic pigment.
