<p>Disclosed is a capsule endoscope comprising a capsule shell (1) as well as a lens (4) and a battery (6) packed therein. The capsule endoscope uses the central axis thereof as the center and the weight of one half of the capsule is greater than that of the other half, such that the capsule remains vertical when travelling through bodily fluids, and the direction of the lens is parallel to the running direction of the capsule. The capsule endoscope is able to accurately determine the area or location of the image or video taken in the stomach in order to help accurately determine the condition of the stomach wall of each region in the stomach and to further help diagnosis and treatment.</p>
