<p>An electrolytic capacitor is provided with a capacitor element (1), a bottomed-cylinder-shaped exterior case (2) containing the capacitor element (1), and a sealing member (3) inserted into an opening section (21) of the exterior case (2). The sealing member (3) has a side peripheral surface (3a) that comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the exterior case (2) on being inserted into the opening section (21), there being formed in the side peripheral surface (3a) a groove or a slit that extends from either of an upper edge or a lower edge thereof toward the other edge. At least a portion of the groove or slit is closed once the sealing member (3) has been inserted into the opening section (21). Alternatively, there is formed on an inner peripheral region of the inner peripheral surface (2a) of the exterior case (2) a groove that extends from either of the upper edge or the lower edge thereof toward the other edge, the inner peripheral region coming into contact with the side peripheral surface (3a) of the sealing member (3). At least a portion of the groove is closed by a portion of the sealing member (3) entering therein.</p> |
