Provided is a transparent film for displays which, when used in pen input-type touch panels, enables input feeling similar to writing on paper with a pencil. The transparent film includes a transparent substrate film and a coating layer formed on at least one surface of the transparent substrate film. The total light transmittance of the film is adjusted to at least 85% based on JIS K7136, and the surface shape of the coating layer is adjusted to a maximum height of rolling circle waviness profile (WEM) of at least 15μm based on JIS B0610. The transparent film is disposed on the outermost surface of a display in a pen input-type touch panel. The coating layer may contain microparticles and a binder component. The average particle diameter of the microparticles may be 1-5 times the thickness of the coating layer. The binder component may further contain a thermoplastic elastomer. |
