<p>The present invention relates to a system for notifying a scheduled date for registration of a completion drawing of a ship capable of automatically generating a plan for registration of a completion drawing of a ship and notifying a person in charge of design about the scheduled date based on the generated plan and a method thereof. To that end, the present invention includes: a ship completion drawing registration plan generation unit which generates a plan for registration of a completion drawing of a ship based on the initially-scheduled construction completion date of each ship; and a ship completion drawing registration plan notification unit which notifies a person in charge of design about the scheduled date for registration in advance based on the plan for registration generated by the ship completion drawing registration plan generation unit. By doing so, the present invention is able to notify a person in charge of design about the scheduled date for registration of a completion drawing of a ship in advance based on the plan for registration of a completion drawing generated for each ship, thereby enabling registration of the completion drawing in a PLM system on time and preventing any setback in the progress.
