PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux cored wire for horizontal gas shielded arc welding in which the welding activity is so good that a good anti-metal sagging property is obtained in a groove and also has superior slag detachability, in the horizontal welding of a mild steel and 490-590 MPa grade high strength steel.SOLUTION: A steel sheath contains at most 0.02% of C in mass% to the steel sheath total mass. The total of the steel sheath and the flux contains in mass% to the wire total mass, 0.03-0.10% of C, 0.3-0.9% of Si, and 1.0-3.5% of Mn. Further, the flux contains 1.0-2.0% of a reduced value for ZrO, 0.5-2.0% of a reduced value for SiO, 0.01-0.10% of a reduced value for AlO, 0.1-0.5% of a reduced value for FeO, 0.05-0.15% of the total of a reduced value for NaO and a reduced value for KO, and 0.01-0.10% of a reduced value for F. |
