PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for identifying a cause of a solid image in a short time, and an image forming system.SOLUTION: A data abnormal condition identifying part 401 which identifies whether image data input to an exposure unit 203 is a solid image or not. An exposure unit abnormal condition identifying part 402 temporarily shuts off an optical path of exposure light of the exposure unit 203 to identify whether a toner image corresponding to the shut-off is detected by a concentration sensor 209 or not. A determination part 403 determines whether the solid image detected by the concentration sensor 209 is a solid image derived from the image data, a solid image derived from exposure, or a solid image derived from a charging state of an image carrying surface, on the basis of identification results of the data abnormal condition identifying part 401 and the exposure unit abnormal condition identifying part 402. A notification part 404 issues a determination result of the determination part 403. |
