PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control drive of an actuator which moves an optical element constituting a projection optical system or a part thereof in accordance with an installation form of an image projector.SOLUTION: An image projector includes: control means 104 which controls drive of actuators 181-183 which move optical elements constituting a projection optical system 160 or a part of the projection optical system according to an input of an operation signal; and attitude detection means 104 which detects an attitude of the image projector. The control means controls the actuator so as to drive the actuator at a first driving speed until operation time for inputting an operation signal reaches first prescribed time and at a second driving speed faster than the first driving speed after the operation time has reached the first prescribed time. The control means changes at least one of the first driving speed, the second driving speed and the first prescribed time according to the detected attitude. |
