The present invention relates to an overdrive modulation method and an apparatus for minimizing the cross-talk and the motion blur of a 3D display. An image signal is successively inputted to a left eye frame, a black frame, a right eye frame, a block frame (L-B-R-B). It is overdriven by a 3D first lookup table which stores an overdrive value which reduces the cross-talk with regard to a stopped image. It is overdriven by a 3D second lookup table which stores an overdrive value which reduces the motion blur with regard to a moving image. Thereby, the motion blur phenomenon of a 2D image can be reduced, and the cross-talk of the 3D image and the motion blur together can be reduced.
