The invention relates to a method for restoring a safety system (10) for an elevator installation (1) from an actual state (51, 61), in which normal operation of the elevator installation (1) is not enabled, to a setpoint state (57, 72), in which normal operation of the elevator installation (1) is enabled by the safety system (10). The method comprises the following steps: a restore request (52, 62) transmitted from the control system for the purpose of restoring from the actual state (51, 61) to the setpoint state (57, 72) is received in the safety system (10); verification of the restore request is performed by the safety system (10); verification is assessed by the safety system (10), and the safety system (10) is restored from the actual state (51, 61) to the setpoint state (57, 72) if the verification is assessed as valid by the safety system (10). |
