<p>Disclosed is a flat panel printer (1). The flat panel printer uses a substantially flat panel-shaped printing template (12) as a print medium. The printer comprises a base (21), a rotary main shaft (22) mounted on the base, a feed passage (13) for feeding the printing template, and a template positioning apparatus (24, 34, 44). The template positioning apparatus is provided on the base (21) and located downstream of the rotary main shaft (22) in the feeding direction of the printing template (12), and can be arranged to block or open the feed passage. The template positioning apparatus prevents physical damage to the printing template and the printer caused by rough contact therebetween.</p> |
